Here's a first contribution, a very rough translation of this article (please, check it out to see the original images and sketches) where costumist Kazuko Kurosawa talks about Nobunaga's outfits in the drama so far.
Bold Patterns and Western Fabrics with a Yellow Theme Colors
There are many costumes of Nobunaga using a red or black palette, but this time I opted for a yellow theme.Through this theme color, you can express the bold personality of the character when he wears colourful foreign patchwork fabric on his everyday clothes or shows off the Oda family crest when full dressed.
Fisherman - The first appearance of Nobunaga in such a outfit
This Nobunaga, in his first appearance (15 years old), is a novelty from the other Nobunagas portrayed 'til now.Following the "yellow" pattern, here feels like Nobunaga is playing the fool on purpose.
There's no dialogue in his first appearance, and the director stated "I want to do something different from the usual Nobunaga. I want to portray a fisherman, but also give the idea that this is no ordinary fellow". So I let him wear many layers of fabric and a kimono wrapped around his waist, adding props so to give him an overall thick appearance.

Cerimonial dress (Suou) & Doufuku - The Oda Clan is wealthy, so they can afford extravagant Western fabrics
Nobunaga inherited his style of clothing from Nobuhide, so the peculiarity of the Oda costumes is that they favour sharp, irregular shapes instead of round, curvilinear ones.Source: Official Twitter Account
Utsuke style - Playing the fool to test Dousan
Kichou is the one who suggested Nobunaga to dress up as a fool and then turn into formal clothes. The first impression of Dousan is "Who's that?!" due to the striking color pattern.
For the clothes I picked the usual yellow theme, merging it with the sharp lines of the Oda clan's.
Daimon - The formal attire to match Dousan's tastes
The formal attire prepared by Kichou for Nobunaga's meeting with her father. To keep it coherent with the previous costumes, I kept the colour pattern and the feel of American comics.Source: Official Twitter Account
