I didn't watch this anime and I'm vaguely familiar with the manga, but I'm aware of this infamous depiction of our favourite warlord and I think it's worth a mention∼
In fact, when thinking of the "Nobunaga as a Vampiric Demon" trope this is probably the first example that comes to mind, if not the first time it's properly featured, actually--?!
The story is an anime original, featuring character design by Mitsuru Aoyama. The script was compiled by Aya Matsui while the director was Atsutoshi Umezawa, same staff of the regular TV series, then.
I know the story features Akechi, too, as some ghost asking for Mikami's help to exorcise the corpe of Nobunaga, possessed by Nosferatu, but the article doesn't feature him.

The design is quite memorable, sporting a mix of western design and atrocious colors, giving Nobunaga his typical "outrageous exotism".
I'm not sure if this movie had some relevance in Japan back then, if just as part of the triple feature Toei Anime Special with Ranma 1/2 and Bow, but this "scoop" over Animage may be a hint. No doubt, this very-little-legit imagery of Nobunaga still haunts pop medias nowadays!
