Kento Iwasaki shared pictures of a new
Nobunaga's outfit on the
Nagoya Omotenashi Bushotai blog:
Yeah, not so "new", but quite "iconic", isn't it?
This painting was commissioned by Nobunaga's retainer Yogo Kyuzaburo Masakatsu (与語久三郎正勝) to artist Kano Motohide (狩野元秀) on the first anniversary of Nobunaga's death, on the "second day of the sixth month" of 1583.
Lately, he would donate it to Chokoji temple (長興寺) in Nagoya, where it's actually preserved.
