The "Bookmarks of Fuji Tour" featured in "Dousuru Ieyasu"

So, past week aired the episode of Dousuru Ieyasu dedicated to the Honnoji Incident that closed the events dedicated to Nobunaga. Unfortunately the western fans of Jun Matsumoto decided that producing subs of this drama wasn't worth their time, so no subs are available and RAWs are stuck to episode 19, meaning that I have no way to review its Nobunaga ;_;

Anyway, the official site and SNS are active about promoting the drama and sharing stuff, so I can offer you guys something to enjoy.

In this article, I'd like to explore the fictional booklet dedicated to the tour of Mount Fuji area that Ieyasu entertained Nobunaga with in the 26th episode of the drama, "Casual Fuji Excursion".
The booklet was compiled under the supervision of researchers Yasushi Ohishi and Yoshihiko Sata, following the events narrated in the Shinchoukoki.

First spot, Lake Motosu.
Following, my rough translation of the contents:
"Mount Fuji has been a sacred mountain since ancient times and is revered by everyone; even Emperor Shirakawa mentioned it as one of his sacred place of worship. In recent years, a certain Hasegawa performed some rituals in the waters of Lake Motosu. The water is always clean and clear, and the surrounding mountains reflect beautifully on the surface of water. The upside-down view of Mount Fuji is a special treat. The area is governed by Watanabe Hitoyanosuke, so please enjoy the peaceful stay."

Second spot, Shiraito Falls.
"A waterfall 150 meters high. the waterfall is extremely graceful, as if several strands of white threads were hanging down from a height of about 20 meters. It's said that when prince Minamoto no Yoritomo came to this area on his hunting trip, he built the Karikura no Yakata" in Kamiide. [...]"

Third spot, Shingen's hidden hotsprings.
"In Kai Province, Takeda Shingen found numerous hotsprings. Not only Shingen himself, but also his foot soldiers healed their wounds from arrows and spears there. The Shimobe-no-yu is a hotspring in Suruga where Nichiren Shonin stopped by. Lord Anayama governs the area, so please ask him for more informations. There's also a hotspring in Suruga where Shingen went on a secret trip.The reason for hiding them is not known, but they healed wounds and cured illness, so their benefits are immeasurable."

Final spot, Miho no Matsubara.
"The white sand beach is very long and lined with pine forests. The view of the high peak of Mount Fuji is truly magnificent. In the past, Go-Toba-in also wrote a poem about Miho no Matsubara in the Gyokuyo Wakashu. according to local folklore, there was a celestial maiden who performed a dance for the fishermen. The robe of feathers she wore was hung on a pine tree. It's now located at the Miho shrine and is a must see."

The original article invites readers to try this tour themselves-- Why not, is my answer?
